Research, Rehabilitation, and Resources

Covid 19 is the tsunami of Long-Term Care and for our baby boomers. Our poor seniors have been locked in one room; provide meals by tray service; limited contact with the outside world, people that care for them are dressed in PPE; and the list goes on and on. One of the most challenging for our front-line team and seniors was connection with allied healthcare professionals due to Covid 19. Excellence in Aging are reaching out to all of you to help capture lessons learned collectively and to be a voice, “Before the Memories Fade Away”
The current culture in long term care of blame, shame, retrain has created a culture where individuals are afraid to care and unable to care and has put one’s dignity at risk
